About the Art​

My pieces are intended to showcase the beauty found in the natural world and mimic the organic shapes and colors found in nature. This mural, in particular, made up of multiple plates that hang on the wall, was inspired by the puddles of ocean water collected on the rocks of the beach I grew up going to, after a large swell. The colors of the glaze are equivalent to that of the salty Pacific water that washes over the tidepools.
